for a mother-daughter night out, my mom and i went to see the american ballet theater’s swan lake at lincoln center. this was my third time seeing abt and my mom’s second time, but we both agreed that this was the best performance we had seen. the plot was captivating, tchaikovsky’s music is so beautiful, and the choreography is incredible. when the corps de ballet emerged in their white swan tutus doing bourrees and graceful winglike arm choreography, they really looked like swans.
